Tom Chubb is a House music DJ and Producer from UK. A familiar face on the London club circuit having played for some of the capital’s biggest promoters at venues such as Ministry of Sound, Turnmills, Pacha, Egg, Bar Rumba and many more. He has held residencies worldwide, notably in London, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai for leading international promoters including Kinky Malinki and MustHaveSoul and promoted a number of his own successful events as well as guest appearances many other international venues in Ibiza, Greece, Thailand, Italy, Poland, Lebanon and the list goes on…
From 2011 to early 2016, Tom was based in Dubai, DJ-ing at the best venues in the City and the Capital including 360, Nasimi, Zero Gravity, Monte Carlo Beach Club and many more. During his stay here he focused more of his time in the studio and in 2014 he released his debut track – Put Your Arms Around Me – as one half of Akimbo with Simon Reid. This was quickly followed by his first official remix for Kidology Records in July 2014 and Dazzle Drums – Outta Space on Centric Music, and then first solo original track ‘Breathe’ on Reel House Records in December.
In 2015 he released The Chubby EP on Conkrete Digital which hit No. 16 in the Traxsource House Chart and was picked up by several compilation albums. This led to many remix requests and quickly launched his profile as an established producer with a stream of releases quickly following on labels such as Mjuzieek, Kidology, Reel House, Zulu, DVine Sounds and the list keeps growing.
In 2018 “It’s In The Stars” peaked at No. 7 on Traxsource and “Don’t You Say” featured on the Defected Radio Show in March 2019. His collaboration with Reza on a re-make of the N-Joi 90s classic – Anthem topped the Beatport Hype chart at No. 1 for 8 weeks and stopped just shy at No. 2 in the House chart.
Tom first started DJ-ing in 1994 and played his first club in Dubai two years later, returning the following year for 6 weeks playing weekly at The Lodge and Cyclone. Back in the UK, he started a residency at The Mansion House (formerly Sterns) for over 2 years which was one of the most popular venues on the south coast. Tom began receiving bookings all across the South Coast at The Manor, The Empire, The Ocean Rooms, Rutherfords, The Q Club and many more.
He ran his own guestlists for two of the biggest nights in the capital; City Loud at Turnmills and Defected In The House at Ministry of Sound and later every Saturday at Ministry leading to him being credited in Jon Carter’s Saturday Sessions CD. Tom then started breaking into London playing at several venues, leading to a residency at The Rhythm Factory and several appearances at the infamous after-hours party, Soda at Madame Jo Jo’s, going on to promote his own events at Ministry of Sound (Plain & Simple & G-Club Live), Turnmills (G-Club Live) and The Glasshouse (Work Experience) before starting a monthly night at The White House (La Nuit) for 9 months as well as the monthly G-Club Live event at The Vibe Bar for nearly 3 years.
Tom has played international gigs in Ibiza, Dubai, Thailand, Poland, Greece, Lebanon, and more as well as twice at the legendary Southport Weekender and the Vocal Booth Weekender in Spain (September 2013).
